Unfortunately our 131 forum has been spotted and visited by spammers wishing to sell us anything pharmaceutical and direct us to numerous porn sites. It seems they do not realise that to be as mad about 131s as we are it is obvious that we've all given up our prescribed medication years ago and for us pornography is a Fiat 131 with the hubcaps taken off showing the sexy wheels. In an attempt to stop such spammers ruining our forum, all new forum registrations will be moderated and new members will have to wait for approval by the administrators before they can post on the forum. This obviously will not affect all our existing registered forum members but any guests reading this and wishing to join the forum will have to be patient and wait for approval before they can post. We apologise for this inconvenience but it was brought about by the small minority who seem to want to ruin a forum with a very specific interest for the rest of us.

Having changed registrations back to self activation a long time ago, we enjoyed a longish period of being left in peace to enjoy our 131 forum banter but now the Spammers have found us again. So new forum registrations will once again have to be approved before new members can post on this forum. We are sorry for this inconvenience but it's the only way we can make sure the small minority who wish to abuse this forum don't spoil it for the rest of us. This change does not affect any current members.

Ah - I wondered how those funny user names had been creeping on to the members list again - You must have relaxed the rules "under the radar" Theo.

It's no harm to have that validation - I notice that we have actually escaped actual pornagraphic images appearing on our site..... unlike the new Fiat 500 site!  Wink

It's just better to have the new users go through validation. It will keep Google and others off your board. Sad but a good thing in the long run. Been there had to do that too.

Looks like we have had our first successful targetting of our forum by the porn industry - Thanks to COVJEK & EUGENE for reporting it. It's now deleted....by the powers vested in me by Theo!? Grin Oh the power....!? Wink

Registrations will show up as "new members" even before they are approved. Registration for onlineviagra has been rejected so gone now...

There are a lot of what appear to be rogue registration attempts lately and of course they are all being rejected. If you are trying to legitimately register on the forum but your registration has not been approved, please email forumregistrations@131mirafiori.com giving details of your registration name, email address and of course interest in 131s and we'll ensure that your registration is approved.? We apologise if any legitimate registration attempts have been rejected.
