Im wanting to change the Strut top mountings that are currently fitted to my 131, i have the type that has a big rubber bush and these seem to have decayed and got all sloppy, they bounce up and down and from side to side even under moderate load i bought some replacements but i dont have much confidence in them.
I know after market universal strut tops are probably the answer, has any one gone this route? if so what did you use? and how was the fitting?
I do have a pair of the later Strut tops with the alloy locating and swivel tops, and was wondering also if i could maybe modify the existing mount (drill 3 x holes at other 120 degree spacings.) and fit these, are they any better than the rubber ones?
Regards
