Been watching this on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220470117733#description

The start price was ?500 and it had had no bids. Then I thought I was seeing things, still no bids but the start price was ?1000. Now today it was ?1400 with no bids! Huh

I was watching it as well, I didn't think you could up the starting price after the listing had started...

I thought ?500 was OK but ?1400 is way over the top!

The seller added to the listing to say he had been offered more for the car which is why he had increased the start price. I find it hard to understand why someone would not bid at ?500 but offer to pay more out of ebay Huh

Smiley Sadly my saloon is now scrapped but I retained those lovely Campagnola alloys.
I think the seller has seen how many "watchers" approx 1500 + & then revised price but thought the price was a set amount as listing fees relate to that ?
I think it is worth about ?500 / ?700  given amount of bodywork to be rectified.
Seen a lovely red Alfetta whilst at my static caravan near Gt.Yarmouth so they are out there still.
Very strange I agree. Sorry taxi driving taking all my time hence lack of postings.
