I have owned this 131 sport (it was my second one) for 20 years. It has been sitting in my Dad's barn for the last 18 years or so. It was custom sprayed metalic blue (engine and carpets out. Sign written with the abarth logo and wording on bonnet and boot . Guy croft ported head and cams, 4 branch stainless exhaust manifold, Janspeed exhaust, twin 40 DCOE carbs and K&N's, electric fuel pump etc.... Engine has done 80k and was rebuilt at 60k, it was fast and always sounded mechanically as good as my previous 24k 131sport. It had a new genuine clutch and a set of Tarox discs and pads fitted within 100 miles of it being stored. I have a spare head with very high torque cams fitted in the boot along with other spares. The bad news is that although i think it is still in reasonable condition, when a neighboor helped me move it (the brakes had seized on he towed it into a post at 5-10mph and it has cracked the front bumper, bit of the grill and more importantly moved the drivers door back 10mm+ so the door dosn't shut. It had two new wings on it when i bought it from the dealer and they still looked good last time i looked at it ( a year or two ago!)

I am now thinking of either doing it up and re living my youth (I loved these cars, still do) or selling it. Anyone tell me what it/the bits might be worth. I could post some dusty looking pics!!

I also have some more black velour back seats (very good condition hardly sat on) and other bits and pieces.

Hi - Welcome to the site - As Albert says pictures would be great - Even with those, Sports are difficult to value if they need work and you could offer the package up to a tendering process, ie highest confidential bid wins (with your own reserve).

I'd be interested in the seats so pictures of these would be especially welcome.  Smiley

Cheers,
It is good to see that these cars live on I am a bit of a car nut and always liked Fiats and Alfa's over ford or vauxhall. That said, I currently drive a porsche 996 911 and have a Lotus Carlton (owned that for 13 years) a Fiat 20v turbo coupe (now going to sell it reluctantly, it really is a great car), citroen 16v bx, Renult Laguna and Fiat Idea (Mrs).

I will find out what else I have in reguard to the Fiat 131 bits as the boot and interior is full of bits. I will take some pictures but I don't often go round the barn so it might be a couple of weeks untill I can make a special visit. I will probably keep it and do it up as it looks to me that these cars are now starting to make some real money!

Mine does not have the original wing mirrors or wheels it has period Alleycats on and internal adjustable mirrors ( I would source the original Califonias but I like the wheels).

I love youe orange one Kev, always wanted an orange one. I remember the great feeling of buying my first, silver, one fron the local Fiat dealer, 20k on the clock 2 1/2 years old and i was only 18. Those were the days. At the time I had a fiat 128 ralley with a modified 1.5 X19 engine in it. Italtune in london drove it and I remember they were impressed ;-) BUT I really wanted an Orange one and still regret never having one in that colour!!
