My next project......

My 131 is currently stored in a dry environment, (off the road at the moment). Today it saw the daylight, I treated it to a wash and polish. I was glad to find that it started no problem and drove OK with no sign of brake seizure etc. I also fitted my new car cover to it, which I bought off ebay last week. It was ?29.99 + postage, here is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320072868743&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:UK:31

It is a MEDIUM size cover you need for a 131. It fits more or less perfectly and even comes with a storage bag for when you are using the car.

Hopefully this will protect it's paint and glass as it was filthy with being parked up.

Hi mirafioriman

How about some pics of the elbow grease effort?  Wink

I use a similar car cover for my 131 purchased in Lidl for ?15.00. It's the medium size with an elasticated edge and fits the 2 Door shell very neatly. Even though I keep the car in a garage, if I leave the cover off it starts to get covered in tiny deposits from sh*tting spiders and insects as well as discarded insect husks. Definitely worth the effort of putting it on each time.
