Well, at least I hope it's getting ready Roll Eyes

Took the Abarth to Mark at IRS near Basildon last Saturday (10th) for various items to be attended to prior to the trip to German in a few weeks. I only hope that things get sorted quickly and easily and that he doesn't find anything we weren't aware of Shocked

I think you're right Ja.

I've been let down by the guy who was going to sell me his suspension components so now I'm left more than a little up the creek!! I think the spring assistors might be the only viable solution as the company in Sheffield who could make me springs can't promise to deliver before we leave for Germany.

Glad to report that the Abarth passed its MoT last week, so there appears to be nothing very wrong with it Grin Shouldn't be either really as it's only done about 5,000 miles since the last one.  Cool

It will get new front discs, pads and tyres for the journey and the tracking setting up again as I had a new track rod end fitted last year and the monkey doing it was incapable of putting things back the way he found them!  Angry

Hopefully have a stereo fitted too, as I'm not sure how 'happy' the occupants will be without music for several long days driving. Roll Eyes

Still trying to get things sorted in respect of the springs, and I have my fingers crossed that I will be in possession of all of the information required in the next couple of days to enable me to get repros made. Here's hoping... Smiley

Abarth collected on Saturday (with the help of my friend Theo Grin) so now being used daily to check it for any obvious ills before the off! Cool

Had a new stereo fitted whilst it was away so now have some sounds for the long journey Grin

Wasn't able to properly sort the spring issue but have found a way around it for the short term.  Wink Don't want my diff being ripped off on the first bump we happen to drive over Shocked

Might have to tone that down a (little) bit as will have all three  Shocked kids along in the car too!

I'm sure that we'll still be able to have plenty of fun all the same! Wink
