Can any person out there give advice on the following.Is the gearbox in the 2.5 diesel Miraifori the same as in the petrol models(5speed)?.There is a guy on the Lada site asking this question.He says, the Miraifori(5sp) and the Lada (5sp) are the same,but he is not sure about the gearbox in the Miraifori diesel.Eugene

not even close. lada 5sp is russian evolution of 4sp gearbox fron fiat 124/125
131 diesel uses the same gearbox as petrol powered 131, apart from bellhousing which is wider to accomodate bigger flywheel
