Help needed again Smiley

well can someone suggest how i put put more light to my instrument panel
ie the 3 small boxes on my dashboard. shall i put LEDs instead of normal lamps?

Is the dimmer working properly? Also try replacing the standard bulbs with new standard ones, they can dim with age.

ehhh thats a good question but i dont think the series 3 had a dimmer!!!

I could be wrong but I think it does. You twist one of the knobs on the instrument cluster Wink

I recently had issues with the dimmer on my car, the plastic arm for the wiper on the rheostat broke. I replaced the dimmer from another instrument cluster, but it worked intermittently. So I simply soldered a wire across the rear contacts, full brightness now. I've been contemplating fitting red Led's, just for something different.
