Auto Italia returns to Brooklands in 2012 on Saturday May 5th. This popular event has become the jewel in the crown for Italian car enthusiasts and in 2011 over 5000 spectators turned out to enjoy some wonderful cars in the spring sunshine. The combination of activities will once again include the demonstration of 50 specially selected cars on the Mercedes-Benz World test track and the opportunity for classic car owners to run up the famous test hill.

I spent most of the day trying to keep warm  Undecided so didn't take many pics.

Mainly a sea of red Ferraris and run of the mill modern Alfas and Fiats. There were few great cars but the weather appeared to keep the numbers down this year, which was shame.

Oh, and some muppet managed to drop a metal clothes hanging pole onto the drivers side door of my Abarth so now I have a lovely scratch to take to Germany! Angry Angry

Nice to see a mid 80's Panda in what looked like great condition.

I see the S3 127 also came with plastic cladding  Undecided Undecided Not keen on such additions which probably explains why I prefer the s3 132 to the Argenta, the S2 127 is my favourite and I prefer the S2 131 to the S3  Smiley.

According to James Nicholson, those wheels were an optional extra on the Argenta; so they are Fiat wheels  Smiley  But I'm not sure about them either.....

They looked better in the dark grey I think  Wink

Or maybe they are just ugly wheels  Undecided
