I presume you mean on a 131...?

This is what they look like on a 131 Sport. The ex-owner of the car may comment on how they performed.  Smiley

Incidentally these pictures were taken in my back garden on the morning of the very first 3MA in May 2007.  Smiley

6 or even 7 inches wide rim would be fine for the tires to perform well.
5,5" is too narrow for 205mm tire IMHO.

I have 205/60-13 on the "Inepetitude". On 5.5 cloverleaf wheels or Cromodoras. Since 2003. Done 50000 kms on these. Any questions?

Robert, that?s interesting. I would be afraid to put them on just 5,5". 5,5 inches wide rim which is about 140 mm should give support for 205mm wide contact patch of the tire. That?s what i call a balloon efect:) But as you say 50.000 kms driven, they did probably perform without any problem. Thank you for the info. I was also thinking about this tire size, but then with a lack of wide rims decided rather for 185/60/14 and 195/60/14 on standard cloverleaf steelies.

You're better off Rob. The grass cutting is a killer! Sad

Largeish house plots are the norm in rural Ireland - Low population density you see.  Smiley

Is it possible to find a new set of these tires?
Any way I had 195/55 on my 5.5 BWA's and I had no problem...
I can't see why fitting 205/60 would be a problem...

My uncle had 124 Sport 13" alloy wheels which i think are 5 J's with 205 60 13 on his 131 Sport all his life and never had a problem. Covered over 100k of fast road driving. I understand the ballooning bit but think you will be ok.
