Fiat 131 Supermirafiori estate for sale (in 1983)

Was sorting out some of my Great Aunt's stuff (now deceased) and came across a local S Wales paper from 1983.

A local Fiat garage was advertising a 1981 (X) Supermirafiori estate. 16,000 miles with grey velour for ?3950.

I'm guessing it must have been a very early series 3 super estate due to the grey velour trim. It didn't give the engine size in the ad.

Oh to go back in a time machine to 1983 and go for a look I would have been there that year as an 11 year old on holiday visiting my grandparents and other relatives who lived there.

It is always nice to reminisce about such things. In the summer of 1983 I was 10 and obsessed with all things 131 . Nothing much has really changed .

I was out with my son last night who is 10 and we were discussing replacement cars  . As a 10 year old he is constantly disappointed with my suggestions and not shy in showing his annoyance
