I usually do, it's a good day out and and a good excuse to get away from the usual festivities  Wink Grin Here's my photos from the last one: http://s1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff477/TheoKyriacou/Brooklands%20NYD%202012/?albumview=slideshow

But it's very much weather dependant and unfortunately the weather doesn't look good at the moment. So final decision will be on Tuesday morning....

The first day of the new year also brought the first day of descent weather after weeks of wet and windy and miserable weather. In fact the weather was more than just descent with glorious sunshine all day and not a drop of rain  Cheesy

Fiat drivers don't seem brave enough to get their cars to Brooklands on New Year's Day  Undecided The only Fiats I saw were a few classic 500s and an 850. All other marques of all nationalities were well represented; there was even a Tatra! Alfas and Lancias were well represented. There were 12 Lancias: a Gamma  Wink, an Augusta, two Appias, Dilambda, Aurelia, Aprilia, Delta HF Turbo and 4 Fulvias one of which was a lovely Berlina.

Here's some photos:

How stunning the Gamma looks in that photo!

I can see the appeal when they look this good.  I can't make my mind up whether it would suit a Government minister or retired playboy more!! Smiley

You are a Fiat driver Theo and were only 'brave enough' to take your Lancia! Roll Eyes Grin On that basis alone I think you could be a retired MP at least. Grin Grin Grin

That's OK Robert, I don't mind being a Playmate but of course it all depends for whom  Grin Grin Grin

only 'brave enough' to take your Lancia! Roll Eyes Grin

Believe me Simon, it takes a lot more bravery to go anywhere anytime in a Gamma than a 131.  When one gets somewhere in a Gamma, one gets a great sense of achievement as well as pleasure  Grin Grin Grin

You are never too old to be a playboy Wink

In your mind anyway Grin Grin

With the Prized 131 Hugo and the Gamma, I am amazed that the Auto Trevi ever gets a look in Grin

As what is quickly becoming a famous saying says: "nobody loves a Trevi except Theo"   Roll Eyes  Grin I love my Trevi and use it often. In fact I used it to go to Andy's and Anita's Christmas and New Year do (http://www.131mirafiori.com/smf/index.php?topic=5767.msg50211#msg50211) and it was an enjoyable drive there and back other than I froooooooze on the way back because the heater decided to stop working. And the 200 mile round trip cost me ?50 in fuel! Shocked
