I should have bought a Gamma Berlina when they could still be bought for ?300. People used to buy them and break them for spares for the Coupes
I'm also guilty of such practices having bought a pair of brand new Berlina headlamps a few years ago and took them apart and used the reflectors to refurbish my Coupe headlamps. The Berlina headlamps cost me ?30 for the pair while Coupe headlamps at the time were ?300 each
They are up to ?600 each now and even then they are LHD only (and mine need refurbishing again
)
The blue Berlina on eBay looks nice but seems like another being bought and sold on for a quick profit: One owner from 1980 to June 2011 then sold on in September 2011 and now up for sale again. It seems it might have been part of the
Classic Car Club fleet. But Bromley is not far from me and my brother lives there so might go and have a look
