Sorry to hear that you'll not be joining us Bobby Cry. Perhaps next year? Cool

Yes pity you can't make it Bobby - What car were you considering taking?

And is the Turin purchase 131 related?  Smiley

Oh that's news to me. What's it like to drive?

Did you drive it home from Italy?  Smiley

Any pics?

The car is just what I wanted and looks and sounds awesome. I wanted to drive it back but the seller would not leave the plates on so it seemed to long winded and I wanted it back by Xmas so had it transported.

Apart from the road test and driving it too and from my garage in the uk I have not really had a proper good drive yet. The road conditions have been damp and rear wheels just spin like mad!

It feels so different to a Sport but will post up once she is on the road.

Details and more photos to follow

This years 3ma car would of been either the Volumetrico, 1600 CL or the S3 super. The CL is under going recommissioning and the plan is to tax and mot it before I sort the paint issues.

Next year all being well I am in  Smiley

Me too - That looks a peach from that single photo.

I hope you don't mind but I've split the thread as I think this deserves its own discussion...and I think you deserve a forum reprimand for keeping this quiet!!  Shocked Grin

Your punishment is to share loads of info and pics!!  Grin

These cars fascinate me and I often thought about buying one. What made you pull the trigger and buy Bobby? Did you go to see it first? Was it expensive to have it transported. I think I have 100 more questions but I'll let you off with that few for now...! Cheesy

By the way, I'd think hard and long about missing a 3MA. Who knows how long they may keep happening for? I think the Formula 1 world has a more long term future in comparison..... Smiley

Cheers chaps  Wink

I will put some photos up in the showroom once the weather turns better and I've spent a day cleaning!

I have to admit that I have been lazy on contributing to the forum and that the last 7 months have been very busy.

I am now the proud father of a little girl born in July...so sleepless nights is my other excuse!  Grin

Then in October my dad had a stroke but is ok and on the mend and soon will be finishing off his S2 131.

So, after months of ups and downs and the theory that you only live once, i needed cheering up! I had set my eyes on a Volumetrico. I had asked Albert about the one he has for sale but decided that I ideally want one on the key with the right bits and pieces.

I had my eyes set on this one for a few months and although photos can be deceiving, decided to go and have a look....will write about my experience later.

Kev, I would rather attend a 3ma then go an watch the F1, but knew this year is a no go due to funds and work commitments. The F1 weekend is with my brother in law booked via a group on package and basically a pi.s up!  Grin

Turin 3ma 2014 has to be done, I missed the last one....
