Someone has gone to a lot of trouble and expense with this replica - Cosmetically and detail wise it looks good. Would like like see the rear suspension, brakes, etc to see how far the conversion went...

Looks very nice though and is it worth the money......at half the price of an original?

Now this is how a replica should look like. A job very well done. Only an expert would see the differences. (Simon, me..... Grin).

I like the color too. Bleu instead of ever red.

About that price...i'm not sure. Sold mine a couple of years ago for 36.000 euro's.... Cry

Hi Kev,

After 26 years of research i know about almost everything about the Abarth version. Stradale and group 4 cars.
This particular car looks very nice. I have no complaints abot the outside. It just looks exactly the same as an Original. Perhaps even the color. Like i said, i like the blue. Most Stradales were in red. A couple were in blue and yellow. Even mine was red.

The engine seems clear to me. A 2 litre with double carburators and perhaps some different cams and such.

The bonnet latches come very close to originals. Well done.

Top shocker mountings are tipically 1978 and on. I expect standard suspension. Too bad there aren't any pictures of that.

About the interior. Very close to Original, except for the leather seats. The blue stripe is a nice touch though.

But i'm not sure about the price. I think it's a bit too high for a replica. I sold my Alitalia-replica for 8.000 euro's, which was a mix of Stradale/Group 4/Racing parts. But the owner put a lot of afford in this one and i can understand he wants a fair price. But 20.000 is more in the right direction.

Still, i'm not easely convinced about replica's, but this one is really nice.

Yes I forgot to mention the interior retrimming but in my view that's an improvement on the poor material of the original.

I'd say at 20,000 euros the owner is losing money but I'd agree that is a more realistic price. Smiley

My favourite colour too. Smiley

Fantastic level of preperation - no question.  I'd like some more valves for that money Wink - not that I have that money  Sad

This is very nice, love something like this. The back wheel ride height and wheel offset gives it away. Does not have the stance of an original but, I wouldn't be complaining.

Sev, what do you mean? The offset is alright. It looks like the suspension has been lowered. Look at Simons car. Or at mine(see picture).

I was waiting for that Mike Grin

It's the best replica Stradale I have seen but, may be it's the picture angle. Where is your Stradale now and who owns it?

Absolutely not! The car's body is perfect. It really looks like the real thing. If somebody should have an Original engine and a suspension it could be turned into a real Stradale. I surely would if i had the money  Grin I can not express my appreciation for this project. Like i said, i'm not convinced that easely. Wink

I do not agree with you Mike.  Wink

On these adverts both cars have the "chrome"- frame of the rear lights painted in satin black and I don`t think they are replicas...  Cool

Heini,

I undurstood you wrong. I thought you meant the whole rear plate. Yes, the edges of the tail lights should be black, like Stradales have.
