Hi I need the camshaft for a head mounted distributor for a 1600 engine. Anyone can help?
I have for a 2ltr engine but its useless for me I think.

If the 2l cam can drive the overhead dstributor, give it a try, they were not that different if I remember correctly.

Yep, if it's got the dizzy gear on it, use it. The difference in lift and duration on stock cams was not significant.

OK for this then. Anyone have an idea what I can use to close the hole of the distributor in the block?

Most of the American twincam spiders had cam mounted didtributors, so you could probably track one down here:

PS. The blanking plug has to be long enough to hold the oil pump drive gear in place, so just covering the hole is not sufficient.

the correct blanking plate was used on the digiplex equiped stradas, 130 tc & mk2 105tc, i think i have one somewhere.
