Hi all,

does any of you tried these lsd in solid axle (I mean standart not abarth type irs)  Fiat 131, I think that Fiat 124 rear diff center is similar an this can be also fitted to the Fiat 131.

it is interesting

I may be a give try when I finish my project.

as I found 124 and 131 share same diff bearings !!!

does anyone have both 124 and 131 rear diff and can get measurements of the internal parts to understand if they are same dimensions

                To whom it may concern,

I am owner of Fiat 131 Racing / Mirafiorisport (it is same as 2 door Fiat 131 Brava in USA). I am looking for a LSD differentail which I found that you can supply for some Fiat models including Fiat 124. As I know Fiat 124 and Fiat 131 share some parts and also same differential bearings I wonder if you can also supply LSD for Fiat 131.

I am member of www.131mirafiori.com forum which is the biggest forum on the net and there is a huge market for 131 LSD if you can supply.

If you dont know the answer if LSD for Fiat 124 diff is same and can be installed to the Fiat 131 Mirafiorisport what information such as dimensions / measurements of differential internals etc. you need to answer?

Can you please let me know what is the dimensions of the LSD that you sell for Fiat 124  in order to check my differential?

Waiting your response as soon as possible.

Kindest Regards,

Ali

and I received following reply with attached picture :

"Hello Ali,
Thank you for your interest in our Phantom Grip LSD kits.
In regards to the diff measurements and us being 100% sure on the Fiat 131, I have attached a diagram of what we would need from the diff  center to move forward and see if we have a shelf unit to suit, which is probable. Please include a picture of the diff's center also.
-Janice"

who can get measurements / dimensions of the fiat 131 Racing / mirafiori sport which are mentioned at the following picture?

Im pretty sure the 124 LSD dont fit to 131. Ive had many combinations in my ex-rallycars.  In one point I had 124 rear axle, which I put 132 LSD in. The bearing area is wrong, the ring-gear didnt fit, wrong bolt pattern. I had them made in local machine shop, but it was a terrible job. The other way around, if you put the 124 LSD to 132 or most likely also to 131, they wont fit. The 124 had smaller bearing journals so I could turn them smaller from 132. But other way around you need them bigger so not as easy job. Also making the bolt pattern correct is near impossible, atleast for reasonable amount of money.
