Collected the 131 Racing on Saturday morning with a fresh MOT  Smiley  A bright, sunny & dry day to take the 131 for a spin.

The road springs have been changed for re manufactured original spec ones - thanks to Phil and Kev for the contact details of the company that make them.  It's gone from a bone shaker to quite comfortable...not too soft though  Wink

With the really hard springs replaced the 14's have gone back on with two new wheels that I found on that ebay.  Little bit of welding on the back box so I can keep the twin tail pipes.

Just need to sort out the.....

heater
head lining
spare wheel
boot lock
clock
alternator
......
......
......

Glad you got the new springs ok, it is quite surprising how much difference a new set make to a car  Grin

Looking good Steve. Those wheels really lift the look of the car.

Keep at the list and you'll have a great car at the end. And chance of seeing her at M2M13140?  Smiley

Hi Guys, thanks for the great comments  Grin

I see what you mean Phil, the original spec springs really do make surprising difference.

Pleased you like it Dave - happy memories

Hi Kev, with the new springs I can have my 14's back  Smiley  I'll keep working on the list....always a job or two to do on an Italian Sports car  Wink  I'd like to go to M2M13140, I got the ferry over and drove a 131 Sport from Wexford up to Donegal back in the 90s so it would fun to do it do it meet everyone.  Will have to check the piggy back  Wink

Good to see Goldy out for a run Jason  Smiley
