Reluctantly as I need to create some space, I am offering one of my project cars for sale. If it does not sell I will break it for parts as there are many useful and good parts including new panels on it. I would do this reluctantly as it is a solid shell and would much rather see someone without a 131 put it back on the road and save it.
Although it looks rough in primer it is actually solid in all the right places. The front bumper and grille are missing in the photos, but I have the parts and they will be included in the sale as will the centre consul which is missing from inside in the photos.
The car starts, runs and drives, although the brake pedal is soft and the exhaust very rusty. I have put a large number of photos and details of the car at:
www.dropshots.com/argentamanThe car has two new genuine Fiat front wings, a new drivers rear quarter, very good rear arches, sills, back panel and bootlid. All four doors have new genuine Fiat skins fitted, although the frames are not great in places. The roof, pillars and scuttle are very good and much better than you usually find.
The car really needs a new front panel (which I can supply) and another bonnet (which I perhaps could supply by negotiation).
The interior is series 2 velour. Ideally I need to keep this for my Panorama project, but will let it go with the car if necessary.
The price ?300 including the new front panel.
The car is located near Carlisle in Cumbria in the UK (North of England).
Sorry I will not entertain silly offers, as if it does not sell for ?300 I will reluctantly chop it up and use parts of the shell on my other projects
However, as I said at the start I would rather it was put back on the road. It is certainly a much better project than the one for sale recently in Thurso, for which the owner wanted in the region of ?500 I believe.
If you have any questions or want to see the car, you can PM me or ring me on 07813 934305.
