Was looking at that one nick just wondering are engines the same and is trevi front or rear wheel drive

Trevi like the Beta is FWD I believe.

That's a Series 1 Trevi so I'd say it's a 1982 model and not 1992 as stated. They came with 1585cc or 1995cc engines and the Trevi 1995cc engine is basically the same as the 131 engine but there are subtle differences because of its FWD installation and the fact that it's tilted 20 degrees forward (same as all other Lancia Betas).  The sump and the inlet and exhaust manifolds are different because of the tilt and the way the auxiliaries (alternator) are fitted is different. All 2 litre Trevis also have power steering. I am only guessing here but I would think with the sump being different the oil pump pick-up must be different too. Also parts like the water pump look different on ebay photos. But I think with little work and if a spare 131 engine is available for the sump and manifolds and a few other parts then a Trevi engine will go in a 131.  There have been Lancia Beta engines fitted to 131s before so it must be possible. 

There were 3 options of the 1995 Trevi engine. 115 bhp carburettor, 122 bhp fuel injected or 135bhp Volumex. The Lancia Volumex is very different (smaller) to the 131 Volumex blower though. Unfortunately the photo in the advert is not good enough to tell which version this Trevi is but I'd guess it's the carburettor version.

I'd be interested in some parts from that Trevi if someone breaks it for parts (not much use for anything else I think). If by some remote chance it's an automatic, I'd be very interested in the auto-box. Having the only automatic Trevi in the UK with no source of parts is a bit scary especially as the Trevi is now my every day transport for the foreseeable future.

And as I'm in Trevi mode now I think I can be excused for flaunting a photo of mine.

Theo, are you afraid your MB rusts away on the salty roads? I should keep the Trevi dry and warm ??? ;D

Albert, I'm sure Theo would choose to use the MB in the snow and ice, but unfortunately he doesn't still have it :-\........which is why he's somewhat "forced" to use an Italian car in this nasty weather :(

Ok Paul viewed the  cars this week & waht he says that they are "censored rubbish" waste of time rotten to the core, 2 trevis & a 127, would have  to pay a good bit to  move them alone so non starter with these.
