got the chance of a "A" plate series 3 super. only seen pictures of it so will have to take the lads word for it if i take the plunge. the car is in the very top of scotland so if i go up 4 it i really need to buy it ( long trip home without it!!). the car has been resprayed and not had the plastics on the doors put back on so looks like a series 2 from the side, and also the drivers seat very worn. just waiting for more pics to get a better idea, anybody any thoughts??? by the way its got 11 months mot and its taxed and used daily Smiley Wink

I bought a series 3 super this feb from e-bay. 62k, xreg, never been welded and in daily use. No tax or test. Drove it back from London to Derby- I LOVED IT! Currently working on her for mot and hopefully bring her to Gaydon.

I'm debating on keeping the x reg or the 1984 b reg which my dad bought brand new from First County Garages in Southall.  B reg has done around a hard 135k on same engine, box and back axle. A spectacular car which has been driven by 3 generations of my family. I passed my driving test in this baby in 1994! It was fast and fitted twin 40's to her after a few months.

Car has been dry stored since 1995- driven for one month in 1999 and back in storage since.

Feel free to buy one (there is a diesel for sale again in Auto Italia). I'm always interested in adding to my fleet, particularly if it a model I have not got.
