There are two types of crankshaft pulley fixings a nut on the early twin cam engines and a left hand thread bolt on later engines.

Does anyone know if the power steering type pulley fits on the early type crankshaft with the nut?

Did the early cars like the sport for example that didn't have power steering already have the pulley ready to drive the toothed pump belt?

All the power steering pulley's I have seen were all on series 3  131's and all had the big nut fitting.
131 sports didn't have the power steering as you say and had a flat pulley with the big nut.
