What's the best way to start the 3ma? With a long drive of course and that's exactly what we did  Shocked Seven of the eight cars present (Kevin decided he wanted a break from driving so went as a passenger in Simon's Abarth Stradale) took the Autostrada  route to Vergiate on the south side of Lake Maggiore. From there we used the twisty roads up the west side of the lake to Stresa with a lunch stop on route. At Stresa we left the lake shore and headed west to the mountains with even more twisty roads eventually returning back to the lakeside at Cannobio on the north-western side of the lake just south of the Swiss border. We had the obligatory ice cream and a walk at Cannobio and some of us also had dinner before heading back south to our hotel in Turin. A long day and a long drive but that's what the 3ma is all about: getting maximum 131 driving enjoyment!

You need a timer on your camera Theo so that you can be in the photo too! Grin
