Having driven non stop for 2 days and having never had a "spin" in an Abarth I travelled with Si on our planned trip to Lake Maggiore. As anyone who has toured the Italian lakes will know they are simply spectacular and fantastic touring routes. They are inevitably surrounded by steep mountains traversed by steep and winding roads and where required one can swing away from the lakeside and indulge in some "spirited" driving.

Before this though some Auto Strada had to be negotiated.

Wouldn't be great to wake up to this view each day...?

Even better when you add some 131s!? Wink

Back to those mountains...

And some moving pictures....

It sure was Nick and well driven ...as was the Abarth I was sitting in!

If I had had a rearward facing camera it would have shown a silver Mk3 glued to our tail - A 2000TC with 122 bhp.  Wink

Ah yes - my legs  Cheesy Nothing wrong with them as far as I can see chaps Wink A little hairy perhaps but all adds to the allure Cool - OK, perhaps not, but it was hot, sunny weather, and even hotter in the car, so I got my legs out!! Cheesy

E, I'm not too worried about Jason's attraction to my legs - we've been 131 mates for a very long time now, and if it was anything sinister I'm sure his wife would have left him Shocked Grin Cheesy Grin
