106,  I get that kind of abuse from my wife all the time so your not alone. I do remember my ex mrs years ago saying to me "its me or that car" to which I replied " your replaceable the car is'nt " needless to say that relationship didn't last long after that and I still have the 131 Wink

Ha ha - Seems a common problem I think.  Smiley

Well one way that I dealt with it was to encourage Jacquie to become a member of the forum and she has now been to 2 3MAs, in joint first position for lady attendees with Simon's wife...and just remembered Ela too. Smiley

Her first car was even a Fiat 131...although I might have had something to do with that! Wink

My wife doesn't understand me neither. She rides a horse... On the other hand, I don't understand her either. It's just one bhp and it doesn't even fit under a bonnet...

 Smiley I just asked permission ( so you know who wears the trousers ) to put my 131 on our drive for a while as my eldest leaves home soon and will free up a space, guess what she said " no way, it was bad enough that old rusty Alfa" - sadly scrapped the Alfetta, then "if it comes then I go " easy choice I guess ? watch this space.
