A possible reason for this as offered over on the Lancia Beta forum is that eBay shops pay for listing an item so when the stock runs out they put the price up to something ridiculous to make sure they keep the listing going hoping that nobody will try and buy one at that price. That way they don't have to withdraw it and pay again for listing it when it comes back into stock. Sounds feasible but I don't know enough about eBay shop rules....

this guy is just down the road from me.. they advertise thousands of parts on ebay (search the words" fiat strada" and u'll see what i mean) so i assume they have an automated system that has aquired a glitch. it wont be the ist time a computer has gone wrong, i'll drop in one day and ask.

 for the record avanti motorsport's ebay id is "redmist racing". redline carparts are a seperate entity entirely.
