Hi all
I want to make my panhard rod adjustable and been trying to find a bolt with LH and RH threads but cant find one anywhere -
What would you call it ? And where to get it from ?
I`m trying to avoid welding 2 bolts together .

Thanks
Finn

Hi Finn,

What you need is something like this part in my picture. Look at the left. I don't know the english word for it, but here in holland we call it kopstang. In Germany it's called uniball.
You'd have to cut of the head parts of the Panhard and weld in two large nuts in the rod. One left and one right.

Hi Finn you could go the rose joint way with one on each end but not great really Wink
I made an adjustable panhard rod for my 131 racing as i was fitting lowering springs & i need to be able to adjust without taking on & off, you will have to get a left hand right hand fine thread turnbuckle machined up & cut your rod & weld in situ  Wink

I know that you have done the mod already...
But i purchased a rose joint from the UK...cut the end of the rod(body side)
and welded the rose joint on with a lock nut.
It also works well...you have to drop it on one side to adjust, but you
only do it the one time.
Will post a pic soon.
