Title: 5609 TI - The car that started it all Post by: kev131 on March 24, 2007, 01:25:27 PM Following on from http://131mirafiori.com/smf/index.php?topic=126.0 I've scanned in some more photos of the beast.
Apologies for the quality but the camera that I owned as a teenager wasn't much cop - Neither were my photographic skills I hear you say!? ;D At the end are two shots of a brand new unregistered 131 Sport (although badged as a Racing - Simon...!) as it sat in the rain awaiting a proud new owner. It was parked out the back of Elm Motors. [/url] (http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/kev131/img040.jpg) (http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/kev131/img041.jpg) (http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/kev131/img043.jpg) (http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/kev131/img044.jpg) (http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/kev131/img049.jpg) (http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/kev131/img051-1.jpg) (http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/kev131/img051.jpg) This was the last time that I ever saw the car..parked next? to the new Argenta. Although the new car was all electric with fancy control panels, etc I can still taste the pain? :'( of leaving the 131 behind - It was a much more honest car compared with the tarted up 132 replacement (which lacked alloys, spoiler, quad headlamps and bucket loads of street cred).
