Months ago the engine of my 2.0L Racing died I had to rebore, etc. Yesterday we started it for the first time and we noticed that the exhaust cam shaft is receiving a lot less oil than the intake. We think it may be due to the head gasket since we had to use one from a Regatta engine (http://www.taranto.com.ar/home/pdf/pdf/FIAT/260100.pdf). Perhaps obstructed an oil chanel. Does anyone have a photo of the original 131 2.0L gasket?  This would be a lot of help since we could check if the one we used is the same without having to reopen the engine.

The oil is "released" to the cam box through controlled leakage between the cam and cam box, you could find a smaller interference between this cam and carrier but if it is soaking in oil it should be enough oil flow then as remember these are low pressure high flow lubrication systems.

i' don't know about gasket for regata, but gasket for croma i used on my 132 engine had 2 holes less than original one. i just drille those two holes in apropriate places and viola! it runs fine. i guess that's because later twincams with head rotated for 180'. perhaps its the same case with regata, sinceit's head is also 180' rotated compared to 131/132 engine

Did you make your hoses from their 'universal range'? I can not see the 131 listed on their site.

Hi Enzo using the link you posted i contacted samcosport guy called Mark Hale & they dont do hoses for the 131 sport & he would like the part numbers on your hoses here is the answer i got

Hi Nick,

Thank you for the link, it?s a new one on me even I didn?t know that we manufactured a kit for that model Fiat!

I will print off the photo and try to identify the hoses but in the meantime perhaps you could contact the guy on the forum and ask him for the numbers that are stamped into the Samco hoses on his car, this will identify what hoses he is using.

Best regards,

Mark Hale

so could you give me the numbers if you can? thanks Nick.
