Lovely looking engine but not exactly cheap
It was destined for a Triumph Spitfire too!
By the sound of the description it looks like it was a GC 'development' engine as a lot of the parts are to GC spec/design, so whoever gets this engine will have to wait to see whether it is better than the FIAT oe spec'd unit - but I'm pretty certain it will be
I note also that it comes without any ancillaries - no carbs, no inlet manifold, no exhaust manifold, no starter, no alternator, no fuel pump, no distributor - to name the obvious, so once you've got this engine you've got to finish building it before you can use it
Lovely engine nonetheless - but I do wonder why the owner started with a 1600 and not a 2000
