well yes, but some scenes are fake. when rear wheel fell off 132 it flipped but if you watch carefully, there was a ramp on the right hand side.
there's no way on earth for that renault 5 to break clean in half no matter how rotten.
i've seen my share of catastrophic cars and can tell you that what was driven in serbia during wars and sanctions of the 90's is as bad as it gets. vw golf will tear off front suspension arm when rotten enough as well as opel kadett. yugo will lose rear suspension geometry as well as lada and 132 when mounting points for rear suspension roth away, but i've seen that under completely abnormal circumstances. when you can't get parts, economy is in chaos, frontline is 100km away and helicopters full of wounded buzz over your head all day long i can uderstand that people drive their cars to destruction, but even in mid 80's, holland was well off country compared to yugoslavia.

my understanding of dutch is elementary at best. is it possible that those were really taken off roads by police??? and just made look worse than they really were to scare the public? i mean, a person would have to be mentally ill to drive around with only one bolt holding the wheel and not to notice the wobble
