Race Retro, Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry, England.

Incorporates the International Historic Motorsport Show 2009

Not cheap - Adults ?20 on the day, but children - free.

Attended this by Markku Alen, Hannu Mikkola, Stig Blomqvist, Timo Makkinen and Bjorn Waldegard, Derek Bell, Sir Stirling Moss, John Surtees, Russell Brookes, Tony Mason Roll Eyes, etc, etc.

Featured marque is the Mini (not very original is it Roll Eyes)

Might still be a good day out tho Wink even if the car park is full of Escorts and Imprezzas Cheesy

They'll be at least 1 - 131 in the car park tommorow!

Got it taxed the other day and took it out today for it's first outing this year. Cool

This will be the third time i've been in as many years. It's a great event.

Might be one of the last times i get to drive the car as i'm edgeing ever more in the direction of a reluctant sale. Undecided

All most ventured out to the revenge cruise' meeting at lake side services and then on to finally destination, all hush hush

in my 131 tonight , but decided to go in the seicento in stead,,100s of motors from all over england ,
reminded me off chealsea cruise 20 years ago,, but this time k plate uno turbo was the oldest car
there ,turn out to be 2500 cars at the eventual  finishing place with a load of police cars and a helecoptor
good to here you again wayne and back on the street

Yeah,we were there. Missed the live rally stage though. Took a few pics of the rally cars which hadnt gone home early. The Olio Fiat 131 Abarth from Jersey was there again apparentley but must've gone before we got there. Roll Eyes
