Haven't decided whether I'm going to this yet Jason. Will have to confirm on Saturday.

As this is no longer an Italian car event and as it's quite a distance to get to and as it's quite expensive to park in a field full of (most probably) British classics it's of no interest to me and I won't be going.

The longstanding Auto Italia Concours will make a centrepiece to the event, with exotic, classic and historic Italian cars from all eras.
Italian car clubs (classic and modern cars) will form part of the Italian village theme.
Several owners? clubs have already booked early to secure space including Pontiac, Sunbeam Alpine and Alvis clubs.

To take advantage of this opportunity, club organisers are invited to pre-book space by contacting Phil Ward at: gbpromotions@virginmedia.com Tel: 01462 678205.

A bonus for businesses is that pre-booked trade space and autojumble stands are FREE of charge. To pre-book space contact Ian James at: adsmanager@auto-italia.net

Sorry Jas,

I had a feeling there was a reason why I wasn't too interested in this any more. Too many non-Italian clubs. Undecided Looks like you be going alone - sorry.

Looks like a nice setting for a car day out. I was glued to the German GP and the tennis so missed out on Terenure here in Ireland.

Vx looks fine Bobby - What was it like on the motorway and does it drink lots of juice?

Is that the correct number plate or your "show" plate...? Smiley

Wheels suit the car better Jason..... Smiley

Hi Kev, just a few photos for now, will post full details of the car very soon. The plate is just for show. It seems really good on fuel if you stick to the legal limit, exceed it and you see the gauge falling. I was told the car has different cams so won't be helping economy but, performance is great and it's fun to drive.

Steve, flew through the MOT. Quick pre check......needed 2 number plate bulbs, offside dip beam bulb and wiper blades were split. I replaced the front pads too as they were around the 4mm mark. The car is mint, underbody is unreal, check over revealed recent new vented front discs fitted, front calipers, rear brakes inc cylinders/cable, fresh set of Pirelli P6's and even has an original Volumetrico exhaust system.

Hi Bobby, Wow, nice one  Smiley  I can remember (back in the day) 131s failing the MOT on a couple of bulbs, bit of blow on the exhaust and no floor  Cheesy

If you had to patch the passenger side outer sill and "do a bit of floor" you were getting off lightly  Wink
