It's a beautiful sunny day here in the South of England (for the moment at least Roll Eyes ) so I've got the Abarth out for a pre-run run (if you know what I mean Wink). I'm off to IRS near Basildon, Essex with it tomorrow for it's MoT and tinkering before I take it on it's trip back to the country of it's birth!

Might take a few pics if the mood takes me. Smiley

Almost definitely have to sell the Racing now Cry, so watch this space for the ad and further details. Undecided

A couple of pics taken this morning whilst out for a countryside jaunt. All of this scenary is only 10 mins away, which is great when you consider I'm only 35 mins by train from London Waterloo! Grin

I must get round to organising that run I keep talking about Roll Eyes

Two more shots thru the front screen as I went this morning. Hardly another vehicle on the road, with the exception of loads of weekend cyclists riding three abreast on a narrow country lane.  Roll Eyes

It's been down for it's MoT this morning but will have to stay at IRS until the middle of next week to have the relatively minor remedial works carried out to get it thru.  Smiley Shouldn't cost too much to put right but means changing the steering wheel in order to get the horn to work Roll Eyes

Back to Mark's at IRS Basildon to collect the Abarth this morning Grin. Another 200 mile trip including a complete circuit round the M25? Roll Eyes not something to be recommended on a wet Monday morning Undecided. Still, there's a 131 size space in my garage that needs filing with red Abarth, so the trip will be worthwhile if only for acheiving that today Grin Grin

Yes...eventually. Nothing major to report this time, but will be laid up over the coming winter for a wings off wheel arch repair.

After a totally horrendous journey on the motorway in the wet and wind finally got the Abarth back in my garage at about 1.15pm today. It didn't miss a beat all the way home, but when I lifted the bonnet to disconnect the battery I noticed that rain water had forced it's way under the leading edge of the bonnet and across the top of the battery Shocked Not ideal Roll Eyes The rain was truly heavy but I've seen it like this in central France before so I'll have to make a deflector for the journey to Turin in May.
