Interesting! Is this a home-made American racing? I didn't think such a specification car was ever available in the USA. Must be a 2-door 2-litre fuel injected Brava and someone added the European Sport/Racing  external trim, grill, lights, bumpers and badges. Also interesting to see that the American fuel injected cars have the battery on the wrong side. And no radiator expansion tank? Or is it hidden by the side of the radiator similar to Series 3 cars? And I suppose it never rains in California which is why it doesn't have windscreen wipers  Grin Grin

Certainly worth a look and unless the reserve is set at silly money, definitely buy! I would if it was local to me  Wink

Radiator expansion tank should be near the battery "on the wrong side".

Thotos,
I though the same, but..... i find it hard to believe someone would go through all that trouble for a 131.
In the ebay ad, there is a pic of a plate that is near the hood hinges, radiator support. Does that mean anything? Do cars on that side of the pond have it also?

Is there a way to run the vin number to verify?

G'day mania. I am in Australia & my Super Brava Australian spec has that plate with the numbers & bar code. I can not however, tell you what that means.
NOW! Get cranking & get yourself over to his house & buy that car !  Angry

Bob 131,

Are you 100% sure about it being your brothers car???

That is exciting news. Did it always have the plaque?

I'm not sure about the add on parts. It looks pretty original.

Can you verify it with the plaque number or the Vin?
