Title: Four FIAT 131 Racing for sale
Post by: moha on April 29, 2010, 08:09:46 PM
Hi 131 friends,
As you might know, I have a fleet of Fiat 131 racing cars, and I have decided to sell some of them.

I live in Szombathely, west of Hungary, close to the Austrian border, 130 km from Vienna.  You can have a look at the map here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=47.271175,16.577008&z=8&t=h&hl=hu

About my cars:
I have four cars for sale:
-Fiat 131 Racing Volumetrico Abarth 1.
-Fiat 131 Racing Volumetrico Abarth 2.
-Fiat 131 Racing ?CLIMATIZZATA?.
-Fiat 131 Racing

1.
Fiat 131
This is the best of the four cars. I bought it in Torino from its second owner.

The car has done 50.000 km, no rust, and it is in original condition.
It has an Italian certificate of origin, and it is not registered in Hungary.
As regards the price there are two options:
- if , besides the Italian certificate of origin, you don?t need other documents, the price is : 8.800,-EUR
-if you want me to register the car in Hungary, the price is: 9.800,-EUR

2.
Fiat 131
I bought it in Torino from its first owner.

The car has done 47.000 km, no rust, and it is in original condition.
It has one serious flaw: the Italian sun faded the lacquering outside, so it needs repainting.
It has Italian certificate of origin, and it is not registered in Hungary.
As regards the price there are two options:
- if , besides the Italian certificate of origin, you don?t need other documents, the price is : 7.500,-EUR
-if you want me to register the car in Hungary first the price is: 8.500,-EUR

3.
Fiat 131 Racing
I bought it in Bologna from its second owner.

It is a very rare racing ?climatizzata ?with factory air-conditioning.
The car has done 95.000 km, it is rusty at some places, the body needs rebuilding.
It has all parts, which are original. If needed, along with the car, I can give you some rare, used parts for the AC system. The car has very special, original, Campagnolo alloy wheels.
It has Italian certificate of origin, and it is not registered in Hungary.
As regards the price there are three options:
-the car with the AC parts and with the alloy wheels: 4.200,-EUR
-the car without the AC parts and with the alloy wheels: 3.800,-EUR
-the car without the AC parts and the alloy wheels: 3.500,-EUR

4.
Fiat 131
This car is in the worst condition out of the four cars. I bought it in France.

The car has done 60.000 km, and it needs complete rebuilding.
It?s a very good starting point if you want to build a Fiat 131 Abarth replica.
It has all parts, which are original.
It has French certificate of origin, and it is not registered in Hungary.
The price: 2.800,-EUR

If you come straight from 3ma10 to buy the cars, and if we can make a deal, the costs of your journey here including the accommodation for two nights in a four star hotel (http://hotelpelikan.hu ) is on me.

Zsolt

Hi Zsolt

It is sad to be selling your fantastic collection...but maybe you have more that 4 Fiat 131 Racings...? ;) I seem to remember that you have an orange one too...? ???

I hope you get some buyers and maybe 3MA10 will help. Maybe you will come to Lossburg in the best one...?

Some better photos of the best car might help sell it..?

Question - Why is it cheaper for the car to be registered in Hungary than to retain it's Italian registration..?

Hi Kevin,

You are right, I have two more Fiat 131 Racings, but I don?t intend to sell them, because one of them is my favorite free time ?toy?( pcs 1 and 2 ), and the other one is the orange ( pcs 3 ), so you remember well, which I would like to use, in the future, to build an Abarth replica.

Unfortunately, I have no time to go to Lossburg.

Anyway, thank you very much for drawing my attention to the question of prices: of course the cars will cost less if I don?t have to register them in Hungary, so I made a mistake there, which I have corrected following to your letter. So I really appreciate you reminded me of that.
And, yes, I will take some more photos of the best car soon.

Regards,
Zsolt
