I've finally managed to secure a full set of new 14inch cloverleaf wheels for my 131 Sport. I bought a single wheel for ?39.00 in 2008 and picked it up at my hotel in Turin at 3MA08. The other 4 just arrived from Italy (co-incidentally from the same supplier - listed in the Connections section) at a cost of ?234.00.

This means that a set of brand new unused 14 x 5.5  cloverleaf wheels still boxed and stickered are surplus to my requirements. They cost me ?250 incl delivery from Germany a few years ago and I'm open to offers at or very close to that figure. They are dark grey in colour so would better suit a Sport but can of course be painted if wanted for a 132/Supermirafiori.

Pictures below and I'd prefer a local sale in Ireland to avoid the hassle of postage...but if no takers, I'll send them overseas if required.

Would love them but alas no money Roll Eyes

I do have plenty of wheels but not a full new set of 14"

How come you are fitting the black and silver ones rather than the 'sport' ones?

I never ever liked the dark wheels on the steel wheeled Sports Dave - In my opinion a wheel should look like it's rotating when on a car - Plus as all the ladies will tell us, dark colours have a "slimming" effect so the dark wheels actually give the impression of being quite small. The two colour versions (ie silver & grey) will look a lot bigger than the extra inch diameter!  Wink

The series 3 wheels were also a slightly different design. Some of the later series 2 supers appeared to have these wheels here too. I believe the series 3 had a slightly wider front track and rear axle.

Yes I remember you saying that before but that you were also keeping the only new set that you had. The silver/grey wheels that I have finally sourced are brand new which is what I wanted.  Smiley

you're probably right, i shouldn't be making a off topic chit chat in your ad...
no, i don't want to buy them since i already have more sets of wheels than cars, but as we say in my country, roughly translated, my eyes are hungry yet my belly is already full.

Well I'm happy to say that a forum member is the new owner of the set of wheels - I hope to see them mounted on one of the owner's 131s some time soon.  Smiley

Another successful sale on www.131mirafiori.com...and with no Ebay/Paypal fees either!  Smiley

Sorry to revive and hijack an old thread, but does anyone know if it's still possible to buy a new set of the 14" black/silver wheels anywhere? Many thanks
