Hi All,

I've been thinking about this for a few years and have finally come to the decision to sell the 131.

For those of you that don't know, this car is a genuine 131 Abarth Stradale that I purchased in Italy 13 years ago.

I always wanted a tarmac car and all the hard work has been done, the car needs putting back together, painting and wiring.

The shell has been seam welded, LSD, rebuilt engine, Brembo 4 pots, top adj. Konis, original Stradale and tarmac bodywork, group 4 dash, T45 historic spec cage...the list goes on and on!

Genuine interested parties only please. The price is firm, so no offers.

jonathan@group4wheels.com or 00 44 (0) 7971 988 735

Thanks

Jonathan

Added are a few pictures before car was stripped before it was due to be painted.

Car comes with Stradale & Tarmac bodywork.

I have no opinion on the sale price of this car but.
There is a Fiat 131 Abarth 16v engine head for sale just now on subitio i think and its 12,000e.
I wonder what the guy will sell the bottom end for ?

Early 2010 was the last time i saw a genuine Abarth for sale and that was in Australia, there is one on car and classic not sure it was Genuine, it was in the allitalia livery and its been for sale for a year and a half but the price is not listed.

There is always some one who is willing to pay big money but in my humble opinion detailed info and detailed pictures sell a car.

I won't comment on Jonathan's ?25k asking price either - it's all subjective and I'm sure there are a great many parts and a lot or work done to the shell that reflect that asking sum, however I would just say that there is a completed 'Group 4' replica (originally a red Stradale) in Jersey which has been used in competition, which was/is for sale, a very well known car in Abarth circles, which is immediately usable and comes with lots of spares, for the asking price of ?50k Sterling - so you pay your money and take our choice Wink Grin

What is it with those f****** replica's. You own an original Stradale and trash it into a replica. In my opinion then it is NOTHING anymore Huh

Being from the Netherlands I assume English is not your first language Albert, I think the word you're looking for is "Wrecklica".

Enzo, of course I expected your reaction Grin Grin

I know what you mean, but they are done by Fiat in the 70s, early 80s. I simply don't understand why people convert an original delivered Stradale nowadays. You know my meaning about using of original good cars and converting.

Fiat 131 Abarth Gr.4

« Reply #12 on: October 11, 2011, 09:53:15 AM »

Hi Albert,

yes i know that though, but if you want rallying with an Gr.4 Abarth this is the only way to make a real Gr.4 Abarth! or if you found an Original Gr.4 Abarth and spend 200.000 Euro.    Cry

http://hrrc.forumotion.net/t6-fiat-131-abarth-jonathan-sage

But i am sure that Jonathan have all the Original Stradale part's to rebuild it.   Kiss

Rob131 Two 131 Sports sold in Dec last year for ?10,000 that is why i have no opinion on the asking price of a Stradale or Abarth asking price.

We should all hold judgement on this Abarth 131 unless we see this car in the flesh or at least if any of us were genuinly intrested see pictures of the standard of work which has been done and what is left to do.

I have to ask also is this car still in LHD form or is it converted to RHD ?

Simon i remember that genuine Abarth you are on about it was in blue and yellow in Olio Fiat livery and it was ?50,000 it was for sale a long time then dissapeared never did heard if it sold or not ??

Hi All,

I don't really want to waste my time, I'll just say that I've had half a dozen genuine enquiries from around the world and am currently dealing with the first one who got in contact and it looks as if the car will be sold shortly and going abroad.

Regards
