Great to see a black RHD survivor. Does it really look like only 40000 miles from new though...? Huh

Very clean looking. Could do with the green starter wire installed in the correct position along the chassis rail under the master cylinder (clips on to firewall). Also radiator expansion tank would not function as the fluid level is too low??   Petrol cap strange. Disclosed sunroof is a pity. Modifications may subtract from its value.
However. a very rare car in what appears in vgc for its age. If that mileage can be verified it could be the lowest of all known rhd uk cars. Apart from the sunroof, a good car to finish to a specimen.
A near as damn it a benchmark example of what top 131r's are currently worth.

Not the best way to run the handbrake cable either.

Nor could I.  Did a vehicle check & this car has not been taxed since 1985.   The owner could do with copying this information before its lost as it loosely confirms that mileage.

Seems to be a genuine low mileage sport not many left if any now. Seems strange that it has a manual choke with the pull knob bracket screwed to the dash ?
What is the history of this one ?

That knob is for manual choke. Look at the picture of the engine. There runs a cable to the top of the carburator.

Whats going on here ?  this morning there were 25 bids and now there are 20 and obviously the price has dropped ! have some of them had second thoughts or have they looked at the car and changed their minds ?
