 Grin yes I know the knob is for manual choke but my point is that the 131 sport runs an automatic choke not a manual.
I just think it looks unsightly and spoils the dash I would have left the 34adf or another type of auto choke, still a nice car though.

It's clearly visable this engine doesn't have the Original carburator, 106  Wink Smiley It's a fact the Original choke parts do fail sometimes. So maybe the owner chose an other type of carburator.

I certainly would Jason!  Cool The pics of this one have had my memory working overtime - oh those heady days of black 131 Sport ownership. JPD 969V and NPF 962W were cars I have never been able to replace - even the Abarth, whilst still a wonderful car, hasn't replaced these cars.

Same here. If mine didn't have a 131 to landrover discovery interface after only 3 months of ownership,it would've saved a lot of grief in the following months/years.  Sad
