I thought you might - Congratulations Chris...she looks well.

Looking forward to seeing better photos and hearing how she drives...I must admit it's nice to have something other than a 131 in the fleet!  Smiley

I just had to have it Grin a very low miles RHD Regata & Super model too !

It has a very nice history with it Smiley The car dealer that was selling the Regata, D. J. Ketteringham took it into stock when it was 1 year old with 5000 miles, his wife drove it for many years. I have a letter from 1992 from Fiat with info about unleaded petrol to Mr Ketteringham, the Regata was sold to a Neighbour for his for a year or 2 it was always garaged, then traded back in 1997 & kept in the showroom till how. The Regata was kept running over the years.

It's in timewarp condition, original paint & rust free Smiley a very rare fiat now & a great find.

I had three of these, one of which was a B reg 100s and I have to say I hated them all and only bought them at the time because they were cheap. Always compared them to 131's which I thought was fare enough as they took over from them but the problem with that was they were a total let down in every respect and I thought they drove worse than the equivalent strada which was odd as they were basically the same car.

Well done, nice looking car..............................but have to say, I don't have much affection for regata's.  We used to have a red 85s Weekend, worst car we ever had, breakdowns, rust and dealers who didn't have a clue how to fix it, but on the plus side it had loads of room for the kids and I loved the split tailgate. got some pics somewhere have to dig them out....................Smiley

There is a trick with these fault panels that I found, well it was more on the lancia Thema's but the same set up really. If the oil dipstick sensor is faulty and you can't get the light to go out on the fault panel which is really annoying you can solder a dash light bulb (larger type) onto the dipstick end and it thinks everything is ok and the light will go out, must be the same resistance ?

Thanks Kev Smiley I am very happy with the Regata, I had it out for a drive today too ! I never drove a Regata before Shocked I was pleasantly surprised it was not as bad as I thought it would be to drive ! Good power from the OHC engine, very comfortable seats & it's very spacious inside. All the Super spec toys inside are great too Grin
