Looks a very nice car!

Luckily the steering wheel is on the wrong side so I won't be tempted!

Garage is full, wallet is empty :-)

I'd have to sell the Anglia and the Super first! Smiley

Stunning looking car though, with a bit of notice I would have been seriously tempted.

The best colour in a racing  . UK car in rhd . Service history . Original bill of sale . 2 owners . How many are there like that ? UK economy is in recovery mode . Classic cars are an investment now as money is useless in the bank due to poor interest rates . Good cars hold their money and increase in value every year . You also have something beautiful in your shed to look at on a Saturday night and enjoy on a weekend drive . A bag of money isn't much to look at . This car will set the bar for classic fiat 131 racing . Everyone is hoping it makes a good price except those who are bidding . Let's wait and see .

That's a nice looking car and if i was still looking to buy i may have bid on this one, trouble is i dont like to bid blind and without seeing something first, just to make sure it's as nice as it looks in the photos, been caught out bin the past Angry, rather a long way to travel to view if from mainland, why is there such a big 131 scene in Ireland?

That's a very good question....and one I'm not sure I have an answer to. If I was to guess, a lot of the current fans and owners might have grown up with these cars when they were new and Fiat was flirting with the number two sales slot (behind Ford). I dont think Fiats ever had such a high share of the new UK car market.

Other's experiences might have been from when they "achieved" banger status and could be easily bought on low 80s wages.

Maybe now they are seen as a more interesting alternative to the more common classic makes like MG, Ford, Triumph, etc.....?

It would be interesting to hear the views of other Irish owners/ fans.  Smiley
