Our Italian member Michele (effe131) has just got the word from Fiat Auto that our planned visit to the Fiat Mirafiori factory will go ahead.

We need to arrive at 9:30am and will be divided into two groups. Group 1 will visit the Fiat Idea and Lancia Musa assembly lines while group 2 takes to the Mirafiori test track.  The two groups will swap places after about an hour so the total tour should be about 2 hours.

More details will be posted as we get them.

This is excellent news! Cool Grin

Theo, I've been following the email trail and understand that the gathering will be split into two groups of equal number. My experience of having factory tours in Italy is that the company usually supply an interpreter (if the group is not of Italian origin) as a Guide up and down the lines. Can we ask Michele to remind Fiat that a large number of us don't readily understand spoken Italian Undecided and could we please have an English interpreter for one of the groups?

I'm so looking forward to going! Grin Cool

Well done Michele (effe131). Great to have someone with local knowledge organising and helping out.

This time in 3 weeks I (we) will be on the high seas (hopefully)!  Wink
