And this coming weekend (07/04/2012) it's round the Goodwood track in the Trevi for the Lancia Beta 40th anniversary celebrations  Grin (http://www.betaboyz.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1470.msg7926#msg7926).

Nothing to do with 131s this and nothing to do with Fiats in general (although there were a couple of X1/9s and at least one Punto) but I thought you might want to see some pics  Wink  http://s1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff477/TheoKyriacou/Goodwood%20LMC%20track%20day%202012/?albumview=slideshow

Looks like a fabulous day Theo with a great turn out in terms of both numbers and quality of cars. It's a shame I didn't have the Abarth here as I'd love to drive round Goodwood in that! Perhaps we should try to get a few more clubs to come along in support of a 131mirafiori.com track day Grin Cool

I should have come in my 'everyday' car and left it in the car park cos I've effectively 'wasted' my day today - I hate Easter holidays almost as much as Christmas! I'd rather be a work  Angry

Looks a great day and a wonderful collection of cars.

I particularly like the V Reg 2.0 Litre Beta Saloon. Great cars and always liked Beta's (all variants). What choice people had in the Mid 70's to Mid 80's  Grin Grin Smiley

Simon; things can't be that bad that you want to be at work. I am at work (from home) and drowing under it  Huh Huh Huh Cry Undecided

If I was in Hampshire now I would be making my way over to Brands Hatch for the British Superbike, or walking in the wonderful countryside  Cheesy Grin Grin.

One of the advantages of becoming a Lancia Motor Club member (?25 per year I think) is the great value track days organised twice a year by the Club. You need to be a member of the LMC to take part but you don't have to take part in a Lancia or even own a Lancia to join. There were several non-Lancias taking to the track and even a modern Renault Clio. I took part in the Beta 40th Celebrations "parade" laps and at ?10 for 3 laps of the Goodwood circuit I think was excellent value. Being "parade" laps the pace was rather sedate but then again in a 3-speed auto Trevi that was the perfect pace  Grin

In terms of Beta (and Beta Varients), what are the numbers regarding thoose on UK Roads, in comparison with 131's.

I recognise the Purple S1 Beta, as this was at the NEC Classic Car Show in 2005.
