Bit of a disaster. While inspecting the tires after the MOT man gave advisory on rears looking a bit old (probably originals) noticed a small crack on the edge of one rim, tucked where you could not see it until the wheels were cleaned, gentle tap with a hitting stick and piece came off!! Its beyond the beading seal so tire not deflated but obviously not good. So does anyone either have an odd wheel that matches (see pictures) or if not a good set of original wheels, with or without tires? If we go the original route then the alloys will be available for sale. Thanks. G

Alloys can be repaired look on you tube to see how, I've had a buckle pushed out on Badger and most will tell you I don't hang around.

Hi Toad. Problem with that is these are proper "magneseum" alloys, remember when every wheel was called a "Mag-alloy"? So you apparently you cant be welding them as the high magneseum content will just burst into flame and "Boof" no more wheel  Shocked G

Too bad. These wheels look very nice. I also like the state of the car. Very clean  Smiley

Thanks, will give them a try but having looked at the site it seems to be pretty much the same as the specialists i normally use, can strip, repaint etc but no mention of welding bits back in and no pics. G

They can be welded, but you have to find someone that knows what they're doing.

I've got a few extra 14 inch quatrofoglio steelies but they'll need to be refurbished. I'll check at the weekend if I have a full spare set and let you know....
