Don't forget a tow rope.Hopefully you won't have to use it,but any make of car can break down.I always carry one,but so far never had to use one, however i have had to tow other people who have broken down.
To everyone who is going to Scotland, wishing you all a safe and plesant journey, have a good time, and be sure to take plenty photos.
Best regards/Slan go foill.Eugene

Hi Bax131,

I was just thinking the same thing................ Embarrassed.
Kev131 pulled into Roscrea on the way on Thursday evening. He met up with Theredx and BrenSport also, outside of town. Took a few pics Cool. I think Kev said that Theo might have his Lap-top with him so expect posts soon Wink

Cheers Ger

Hello guys,

Back in Enfield after a 7.5 hour drive including two fuel/comfort/coffee stops. Sorry it's been so quiet but no internet access even though I had a laptop. Then again we were far too busy having loads of fun to be internetting  Grin

I'll try and post a taster of photos later but now I must unpack and repack because  early tomorrow morning I am off to Belgrade in Serbia for the Eurovision Song Contest !  Wink Cheesy So I am afraid it will still be quiet from me for another 6 days.

As you can all see in Andy's top pic, my Abarth managed the trip up to Scotland at the weekend for the 3MA08, and I'm glad to report, also managed to get us home again without mishap Grin

In total I covered over 2,600kms, which equates to about 1,600 miles, and all of them were great fun Wink 7.5 hrs home from Inveraray, including a detour round Birmingham (via the M5 and M42 instead of the M6 Toll Rd). More miles than Theo by quite a bit - but the same time. I think you're getting slow in your old age T-O. Grin

It was superb to meet up with my old mates Kev, Mark, Mick and Michael from Ireland (some with their 131s and their Ladies! Grin), Andy and Anita from Eastbourne, and also Rene from Germany. It was also great to to meet new friends Albert from Holland and Mike from Kerry. Not forgetting the 'main man' Theo too Wink, without whom none of this event would have been possible....Good on ya Theo! Grin

I'll post up some pics soon, but I've not the chance tonight.

Back from 3MA this morning again in Holland. The first longer trip with the Volumetrico and it did not miss one single beat. A lot of great driving through these wonderful scenery and  Ela, my girlfriend even started to like it really after the 1st day!Trailerloads of fun and a lot of new friends! So, it is also up to ALL other forummembers to finish or just take your cars and come to next event with at least 25 or 30 cars!!
All the friends we made in Scotland, thanks for the pleasant stay, we both hope to hear you on the forum and see you in real life!
And especially for Jan and Rene who made the longest trip of all getting there, thanks for being together and hopefully you also liked the small 3MA finish in Holland!!
