My 131's "liberation" and of course the picture was yesterday  Wink I'll post another pic after I've washed and lubed  Grin

I've been watching the Belgian GP free practices and qualifying at Spa and remembering my hour and a half session round the track in the Gamma and remeber thinking "I wish I was doing this in the 131"  Grin  Grin

Kev, you'll have to wait until M2M to find out whether it's me or the 131  Wink Cheesy Grin

Theo, if you don't stop hijacking 131 posts with pictures of your Gamma I'll have to consider banning you from this site.  Wink Cheesy Cheesy

Just checking the address of The Jubilee against Google Maps and the link above posted by Phil and there's a difference in the road name -

Both Google and the site link state it as 'Old Ipswich Road' and not 'Old London Road'. The postcode is correct though. Grin

Sorry, I think the road has two names, I think the proper name is "Old Ipswich Road" as per google maps.

Surely you know that's the wrong thing to say to me as it'll only encourage me to post more Gamma photos  Grin But just to keep you happy, here's some photos of the 131 after the wash and polish this afternoon just as sunny Enfield became a very wet Enfield  Angry  Didn't those lovely Lancia Beta alloys clean up well!  Wink Grin It's a shame my spare set of Gamma alloys don't fit otherwise I could have got a few pics of Gamma bits in with the 131  Grin Grin Grin

After an extremely wet and slow drive around the M25 we are back home safe and sound after a warm and welcoming weekend in Essex. Grin

I found a new 131 'trick' - open the drivers window a little in driving rain and the water comes around the top of the screen and runs down the inside right in the driver's line of sight - wind the window up again and water stops  Grin Novel  Cheesy Wink Got to love a 131! Kiss

Thanks to Phil and Tansy, not only for the run and meal on Sunday but for also letting me, Wendy and Shannon stay the night and for a great breakfast this morning! Cool

See most of you again in ten days or so for M2M! Grin

A BIG thank you to Phil and Tansy for a great day, a wonderful driving route and superb dinner. We all met at the Jubilee Pub in Ardleigh near Colchester for a full and hearty breakfast and then onto Alton Water in Stutton for a photo opportunity. Next it was on to The Shipwreck at Shotley Gate Marina for beverages, lunch and ice cream and our end destination was at Phil & Tansy's in St Osyth. See you in Ireland in 10 days!

A big thank you to everyone for making me feel welcome yesterday, especially to Jason for waiting for me and being my guide on the first outing in my Fiat in 20 years. I had a great maiden voyage driving around some beautiful essex/suffolk country lanes and it was really nice to finally meet up with everyone and put faces (and cars) to names.
Thanks very much to Theo for taking some great pics, i'm looking forward to our next meet, just sorry i can't make Ireland. I'm sure you'll all have a great time and i'll be looking forward to seeing some great pics and posts. Hope it doesn't rain too much.
