i am about to restore the suspension of my Racing 1981 and I am looking in Argentina for the top mounts bearing and any other part between the spring and the top mount of the front suspension. Does any one has the Fiat part numbers for these parts? It is going to be easier to find them if I have the numbers
I understand that the top mount for my car should be the one shown in the photo attached.
Thanks

Yes, I tryed Ebay but with no luck. This is the part I am missing to fix the suspensions. Currently my car has Peugeot 504 top mounts on and I want to turn it back to the original. Thanks a lot anyway

I got mine from this mob "http://www.turinimports.com.au/", although freight to Argentina might get a bit expensive.

The biggest problem is the early cars have a different sized hole in the inner wing. If my memory is correct the early cars have a smaller hole.

I take it you dont have any strut top mouintings at the moment, if you do have an old one post a photo, in my experience they never seem as bad as you imagine, if they are moving about a bit (and mine do) dont go expecting much imrovement when you replace them.
I have a spare used pair that i removed from my car, they seem to be in as good a condition as the ones i replaced them with.
Please do not cut the strut tops up, actually if you need the bigger ones its making the holes smaller that would be your problem and then maintaining steering geometry.
If their is any way i can get these spare pair to you i will, all i ask is that you pay postage.
PM me your address and ill find out how much.

thanks steve, but i haven't yet decided what to do abouth those top mounts. they're not completely busted but are not in top nick either. since i plan to fit bigger wheels and new tyres, suspension must be as new for that. also, i already bouht new lower arms and all 4 shocks so it would be a shame not to replace top mounts. i've done some pretty radical modifications on my other cars so maintaining steering geometry won't be a problem. anyhow, i'll take a pic or two and let you and other guys who have more experience with 131's evaluate their condition.

Djape, one question, the ones you bought for 10E are the same as the ones you show in the photos above? If so, I would be very grateful if could you look to see if you can find the Fiat part number stamped on them. The ones I need are the ones you show in the photos.
Thanks
