Hi,

A guy near to me is shutting down his business after 28 years or so due to his lease not being renewed.

It's not exclusively 131 stuff , but if you know someone who wants a part for an Italian car let me know, have just bought a Volumex engine of him so, am going back up next weekend to pick it up.?

What other bits and bobs he has I don't know, but from a brief chat, have put together the list below...

I'd be interested in a new radiator for the 131 Sport. I know the Sport radiators are bigger than the CL radiators but I suspect all 2 litre cars have the same radiator?

Also interested in a new 131 Dashboard.

They should be the same I would have thought ?. I'll see what he has, but there is sooo much stuff it will take ages to sort out. I could have stayed there for hours sifting through it all... :o.

Would be happy to get a radiator, too.  Rear spoiler is also needed, as mine is too wide ?!.
I've a feeling that this grille on the photo is a 132 one. Chrome bumpers would be nice for guys with specials here, too. But it is hard  to decide without the prices or at least price range.

It was difficult to try and get a price for everything there but if I know what you need I can ask him at least.

The bloke has just started training as a mechanics teacher so now all his time is taken up with that. He only spends a few hours there on Saturdays now.

I offered to help him out as it would be a crying shame if any more stuff was binned ( he got rid of, I think he said, half a dozen twin cam engines the other week ... :o ).

Will do my best to answer all questions by next Saturday. I've put together a list from you all...so keep your fingers crossed !!.

So is this stuff from Chris at Betacar? If so, then he is mainly a Lancia specialist. The Gamma Consortium guys have been there with a trailer and collected all panels and a few other spares for the Lancia Gamma. Chris is willing to do job lot deals to get rid of the stuff quickly. The business will carry on as a workshop only run by his mechanic and there will not be any parts sales from the site or mail order. Chris will continue to supply parts himself by mail order through his eBay shop but on a much more limited scale and won't be able to post things quickly. Maybe we should get together and buy a lot of 131 parts as a job lot if he has a lot of parts for the 131?

Correct Theo !!! ... but from what I can gather the business will not continue, he had lined up a mechanic but then the lease renewal was not granted.

He will have a much smaller amount of stock when he vacates the current premises and would have to ?" let go " the items he does not want.

He is a Lancia specialist but he also has parts for the 131/Strada/Uno/124 etc, etc. I'm not saying he has a lot of 131 parts for sale but he has some, so it would be a waste if they where to be thrown away... :o

Mick - I also need front shocks for a 131 Sport - - They need to be the stiffer ones for the sport, not the standard version. Might be a long shot but worth asking all the same. ;)

Hi Albert,

The Trevi, another of my all time favourite Italian cars. You must post many pictures!

I will but not yet as the car is rustfree!!! but has a side and roof damage. It is running excellent as the engine did 102000km and had a rebuild 6000km ago, interior is mint, underside also mint. I bought a Trevi 2000 and a lot of spares to make it possible to rebuild. Problem is that at the moment still nobody wants these excellent cars and there is already near nothing on the market. I will keep you informed. I really really wanna finish this project and put the car next to my Fiat Volumetrico's. They were actually the prototypes from which Lancia distilled their VX production versions in 3 shapes. I was especially interested in the Trevi as it comes the closest to the 131 and I wanna know the difference between Volumetrico rear wheel drive and Volumex front wheel drive! And of course the shape is nice and a bit weird!

I have fond memories of driving a Trevi over a summer once. It was my bosses car, but the business broke down and it got sold. It was in great order and I really wish I had got it as my wages. But I didn't and I think it ended up in Ireland. It was silver with a blue interior. A 2 litre with carburettor engine.

 :D Sounds like a brilliant place, You said he had thrown out a load of engines. Just my luck, please will you ask him if he has a 2l tc engine in a corner some were. (fingers crossed)

Tail light is yours Chris, will have a look for passengers side tomorrow. There are a couple of grills with the Fiat emblem that take round head lights, will post pics tomorrow to see if they are what you / anyone is interested in.

Rads seem to be very popular..5 at last count.. :o, I'll ask.

Hi Chris, the pic below was I think a Carello 131 light unit and nearly new backplate for, I think, the drivers side. There seemed to be a few Carello units lying about but are probably all off Lancia's and they seemed to have different mounting points to a 131 but will check again next weekend.

How much for the late model 131 front grille? Did you find the Argenta sump?

Can you please secure me the 131 front grille with the 5 spokes north-south!? The same one in my blue Volumetrico has a little crack and part missing so I would be incredibly happy with that item!!

Dave - we looked through the sumps but he said he was mistaken and didn't have an Argenta one..sorry.

Both of you guys want the first grill in the pics..  :o.

Chris - There are plenty of round headlights there, will try and get a better picture of Carello units, hopefully, next Saturday.

Hi Simon.. Not sure about the rear lamp assembly yet, as I could do with a backup also and a number plate light. The other number plate light you can have.
Regarding the make of indicator unit, I'll have to check, and at present have found only one ( the other is for a Strada ).

There is the always the chance that there are more but it will take time to have a look through the rest of the stuff.

I don't have a lot of time at the moment to post prices etc as I am busy with work. Nothing has gone as yet so it's still all here.

Apologies if it seems that you are being bombarded with requests but you have found an Alladins cave mate!

If those track control arms are genuine Fiat and are for 131, may I have 2 pairs please?

Do you have any ideas as to how these items can be got to people? Ideally if you are coming to 3MA that would be a great opportunity to distribute some stuff and I'm sure you wouldn't have to put your hand in your pocket once when we get down to having a few pints!? ;)

Yeah it's a bit frenetic at the minute.. :o.

The TCA's that we had a look at all had the Fiat stamp on the underside. It also appears that the ball joint can be replaced without having to get a whole new arm, will have to check that though.

As far as the distribution is concerned, not really thought about that.. ::). Would love to come to 3MA this year but there is an issue with work / money at the moment ( when isn't there !! ).

You forgot to mention the other bits that we found Mick!

Series 3 tail light clusters:- 3 L/hand,1 R/hand

2 or 3 new windscreen wiper motors (same part number as the sport)

and another series 1 front bumper (same as the one in the pic earlier)

If the radiators are indeed for 131 autos I would be interested as I currently own three automatics ;D

I bought one off him last week with the plan being to modify the brackets to fit the sport. I paid ?40 for it. Maybe if you bought the other two or if Mick adds them to the next haulage,you could get them cheeper each. :)

Yep, Wayne and I found some more stuff ( some items may have already been posted here so apologies up front !! )

So far here is a sum of what we have put aside :-

3 x front brakes hoses, but there's probably more
2 x O/S front indicator units and lense for same
4 x 7" outer headlights suitable for the Sport
4 x Argenta ( 131 Series 2 ? ) headlights, 3 x O/S and 1 x N/S
3 x N/S and 1 x O/S, Series 3 rear light units
2/3 wiper motors
12 x inner headlights ( same as the Sport I think )
5 x Series 1 bumper mounted number plate lights - SIEM
2 x Series 1 chrome front bumpers
1 x N/S/R Sport wheel arch trim
25 x TCA's
1 x Sport O/S rear light unit

We took one of the TCA's that we have and fitted it to mine, so they are for the 131. I'm sure that there is more stuff still there but will have to be quick as he is hoping to be out of there by the end of the month.

Both of the outers are new Siem units - ?35 each.
Will have to check on the inners to see if they are new ( think they are ) Chris wants ?30 each for them though.

Albert - Light units pictured below, brand new and of Altissimo make, they have the FIAT stamp on the fog light. They are ?38 each.

Hmmm ?130 plus postage costs for a set of headlamps might be OK if I needed them desperately but the headlamps on my car are not bad so I think I'd pass at that price.   :-[

I dont know if you have but I need a timing belt of a Volumex engine that connects the Volumex and the power steering together like the one you have in the picture. I also need the headlamps metals without the lamps because when I bought my 131 sport they made the lamps attached to the grill and there was no metal frame. Thanks

I wont for racing one the Big lights and small light frame. And the power steering is right hand drive not left hand drive.But can you tell me the price of the power sterring.Thanks for the interest.

The price of the power steering  is 250 Euro.
May be your panel maker can fit the lights frame.
