Hello Guys....

Tis might seem like an odd question but..... I was looking at my 131 and wanted to know if anyone has ever tried removing the entire drivetrain from underneath.
I have worked on old dodge/Chrysler vehicles, on those you can remove the front cradle with the engine and transmission attached. It looks like the same can be done on the 131.

Any thoughts??? Or am I mistaken?? Huh

Yes I've done it when I broke a rotten panorama and didn't have an engine crane. Undid everything and lifted the body off. I disn't remove the back axle as I wanted to be able to roll the shell around but it's possible.

Thanks Mirafioriman.

I thought it could be done. It appears to be easier that removing the transmission first, then having to remove the engine......

If you have an engine crane you can lift the engine and box out together in one piece.
